I think everyone needs role models to reach their goals.
I have a couple:
1) Valerie Bertinelli
Have you seen Valerie Bertinelli in her green bikini? This well-loved TV personality in America achieved a healthy weight and even wrote a book on her weight loss journey. She looked great at 49. She looks 29 to me. I caught a glimpse of her “secret” on TV Mobile. She exercised 45 min everyday, does not take salt and cuts down her food intake to 1200 calories a day.
2) Irine Chiam, a travel agent in Kuching
I met her a few years ago and she was quite hefty then. Last year I saw her and almost could not recognize her. She isn’t pencil thin but has achieved a healthy glow and looks energetic. She found that she could not keep up with her toddler daughter and started jogging every morning and walking every evening after dinner. She also takes protein with vegetables for dinner (low carb). When I told her I was taking part in the 10 km run this Sunday, she was so proud of me. That was a cheer to me.
